About us and our services

La casa en la colina is in the Valencia region. We are 5km from the town of Xativa and a 40 minute drive from Valencia airport and 1 hour and half to Alicante airport.

We are served by a good network of roads with easy access to the city of Valencia and beaches on the costa blanca and costa azahar. The train service from Xativa to Valencia is reliable, frequent and good value; within 40 minutes you are in the centre of Valencia travelling on airconditioned trains. Valencia has a metro system linking areas of the city and now linking to the airport. When in the city visit the new aquarium, arts and science city and take Valencia city tour to see the wonderful architecture. Take time to visit the shopping area and try the great restaurants. Visit Valencia port which has already hosted this years F1 and again next year, Valencia will host the F1 European Grand Prix for 2009, the F1 European Grand Prix for 2008 was a fantastic success for Valencia, and has established itself as one of the greatest street circuits in the World, with the Monaco style harbour backdrop, this venue will soon be established as one of the premier circuits of the F1 tour,
all a short bus or taxi ride from Valencia Nord station. Our location is in the rural hills
outside Xativa a short distance from local villages. We overlook traditional Valencia orange
groves and the castle in Xativa can be seen in the distance.
